Well... I was born a city girl in the burbs of Mississauga. Pulled to London ON by the need to start fresh but mainly because I was told to "do something with my life", so I went to college.

Lets back up a little and share where my love for photography started (which led to videography). It was in a dark room. I did photography classes in high school, and we shot on film and developed in a dark room, where editing was a simpler (but had no ctrl+z), where it was a game of manual light and time. I got my first DSLR shortly after (it was a Pentex). It was great in the sense of I could take a thousand photos and no repercussions of having to spend more money on film. So that's where the interest was born, in a dark red room, which lead me to accept the TV Broadcasting post secondary path (not photography, because I was told I'd starve). Look at me now, hungrier than ever. Metaphorically speaking.

Lets fast forward. Got that diploma. Worked at a TV station for 8 yrs, taught masters students at Western University, grabbed some great live gigs in-between, went back to school for Project Management, floated around the digital marketing industry for awhile. I ambivalently enjoy volunteering at Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS) an organization that offers free professional photographs of stillborn babies and babies who die early in life.

Now I am a mum of 2 kids, that has been going by so fast. Sometimes the only way to slow it all down is to take photos. And that is exactly what I've been doing hardcore since 2020 but under the eyes of the Ontario law, been in business since May 26 2025!
